Joel Auge – Joel Augé (pronounced “Oj-hay”) hails from Ontario, Canada, where he serves as a worship leader for The Meeting House family of churches, runs his own digital marketing company, and Records on the Integrity Music Label.
Joel’s passion for music has found him recording since 1999, fronting three distinctive bands. He has always felt at home smack in the middle of the sacred/secular road. For him, it’s the same road. ‘The balance between artist and worshiper is a heart thing,’ Joel says. ‘If you’re a Christian and you’re making art, you are in some way sacrificing your art in worship. My art, the thing I create, even though it’s not 100% congregational all the time, I consider it an act of worship… It’s a daily struggle to put the ego aside, but ultimately, I’m nowhere near as important as the one I’m singing to.’

Jim Weiveris - As a retired municipal government worker, Jim started pulling cable each Sunday with his local porta-church. Along the way, to better learn his craft, he took classes with Syn-Aud-Con, various church centered events (CMS, TMS, NEWI) and got involved with the good folks from Worship Arts Technology Summits, traveling often with them to lend a hand and to learn what he could.
When the church moved into their new building, he was asked to take over as the “sound guy”. In short time, that turned into a volunteer, full-time position as Technical Director, organizing and expanding the operations of the team. Jim has a very real sense for stewardship, both of people and money, which led to disagreement, causing him to depart the church.
In life after retirement, he also did electrical work for a communicattions company, learning the how-to (and how not to) of structured wiring.
Jim’s goal: to be united with his Lord and Savior, and reunited with my wife, who beat me there to hear those seven wonderful words…
